Valuation and Technical Review - Romania

Brown & Co were instructed by a major Middle Eastern investor to advise on a potential 13,000 ha acquisition in Romania.  Brown & Co were able to provide a formal valuation of assets plus a detailed Technical due diligence of the agricultural operations of the business.  Work carried out included: a review and assessment of the land bank, soil analysis and climate review, irrigation system review, planned expansion of the irrigation system, infrastructure assessment and recommendations on CAPEX and crop storage, yield assessment, OPEX review, EBITDA and Net margin review plus provision of commentary on overall EU CAP policy, changes coming down the line and potential impact on the business.
