Ed is an Equity Partner of the Firm and has been based at the King’s Lynn office in Norfolk since January 2009, after four years at the former Spalding office and three years before that at a national Firm in Nottinghamshire. He graduated from Harper Adams in 2002 and qualified in 2004.
Ed is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, a Fellow of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers and is a Recognised European Valuer. He also sits on the Brown & Co Management Board as Head of ICT.
Day-to-day, Ed’s professional time in divided between rural property agency, valuation, landlord & tenant matters and acting as an appointed Agent and Valuer for the Agricultural Mortgage Corporation. In addition, Ed has two particular specialisms, being a provider of large-scale international valuation advice in areas including Central & Eastern Europe and Australia, and secondly, the Firm’s lead on renewable energy development and infrastructure (focussed on wind, solar and storage). Ed speaks regularly on energy matters and has been a guest lecturer at Harper Adams University on the subject of international agriculture investments.
When time allows, Ed enjoys golf, squash and playing his old, dilapidated piano. He is married to a South Lincolnshire farmer and has two children.
